Locating and Buying A Property

You can find a property to buy by exploring the world, many will be road side, in towns or cities, and sometimes the plots will be marked with areas of dirt. Other properties will be off the beaten path. All properties will be marked with a “For Sale” sign near it.

You can hover over the “For Sale” sign to see the property boundary that is for sale or double click on it to get additional details about the property such as size and how many objects it can hold. From there, you can purchase the property.

Purchasing a property will be bulk of the cost to owning a property, the cost is always paid from a player’s bank and never from their inventory.

In MMO Multiplayer mode, properties also require taxes be paid on them every so many game days (typically 90). The purpose of taxes is to make sure accounts that have gone dormant over long periods of time do not unfairly consume housing properties for active players.

Note: Any player may own a maximum of two properties at a time. This will eventually be a setting in single player settings for your world.
