The Currency SystemGravebind’s currency system utilizes three different types of coins. Copper, Silver and Gold coins. Each coin has a different value but all can be used to buy items with. All shop values are displayed in Gold Coin value. While at first it sounds confusing, it is relatively simple. The value of each is as follows (Gold Coin = 1.0, Silver Coin = 0.1, Copper Coin = 0.01) so 10 silver coins are equal to the value of 1 gold coin and 100 copper coins is equal to the value of 1 gold coin. NPC vendors will give you change in silver and/or copper coins when a higher value coin is taken. (Tip: NPC Bankers will also condense and exchange currency for you.) ![]() Interacting with Vendors (Shopping)You can buy/sell/repair/enhance items from NPC vendors by starting a dialog with them (double clicking on them). At the top of there greeting, if it is during game business hours (8am to 8pm), you will see tabs for how you can interact with their store (Buy/Sell/Repair… for example). Clicking on the Buy tab will show you their store inventory, while clicking on the sell tab will show you items they are willing to buy from your inventory. Repair and Enhance tabs are available at some types of vendors and applicable items will be displayed with a description of what service is being offered along with the cost. ![]() Important Note: Inns, Taverns, and Churches are always open so you can always purchase items there or advance time by getting a room at the Inn. BankingEven though you are foreign to the land, yes, you still have a bank account! Your characters in the same world share the same bank inventory space. You can store items you want to keep safe or don’t have room for in your inventory. Currently there is only one bank in the large city of Brimstone (Note: in the future all banking locations will share the same bank vault inventory storage). |
